Please help us help the Durfs... jun 18 2007 rob & zach about the album leak rob says Rob is having trouble posting to the list, but asked me (Dudley) to pass on that while they're disappointed the album has leaked already they hope that if you do download it and like it you will buy the album on September 11. The extensive artwork is a part of the total package they'd like to present, and the first copies of the album will come with an EP with some of the best songs from those sessions, that don't fit with the overall theme of the record. zach says

was a great thing. It is unfortuante that the album leaked so early. We knew that it was inevitable and hoped that it would leak closer to the release date but
unfortunately a writer in S.F. downloaded the album onto his itunes and it was a shared folder. It was extremely irresponsible on his part. There is a lot of
controversy going on the pinback yahoo site. Folks are getting a little mad at each other about whether to download or not to download. Either way it is up to you to

apr 05 2007 new album "autumn of the seraphs"!!! so there WILL be a new pinback album. it's called "autumn of the seraphs" and will be out probably on 9/11 (?...) 2007. nothing on the touch and go website yet, on which label it will be released. here's what zach writes on his BLOG: pinback's next album near completion :-)
oh so close! right now rob and i have about 15 songs we are mulling over for the next pinback album named " autumn of the seraphs . " we are in the process of finishing up mixes etc., then we will narrow it down to about 12 songs. the artwork has been done by our friend mike sutfin. he did the cover to our last tour e.p. " too many shadows " as well as our bsides we released late last year "nautical antiques . a new pinback album will be released on aug31. this cd captures the innovative pinback sound as was found on previous releases from 1998-2001. most of these tracks are previously unreleased in the states, appearing on demos and various b-sides on european-only releases.

There's no official news on this, but both Cameron Jones and Ryan Bromley were not in the LIVE-band on the last two september 2005 gigs. They were replaced by Tom Zinser on drums and Chris Prescott (Jade Shader, No Knife) on backup vox, keyboards, guitars.
